The object of the Society is a general dissemination of knowledge pertaining
to the earth sciences: To sponsor regular meetings and field trips for the
benefit of the membership and to be helpful along these lines
to one another. The society is social and educational in character. Our club is a member of
the Washington State Mineral Council and the Northwest Federation of Mineralogical Societies
and American Federation of Mineralogical Societies.
